Active Directory Sever Installation Steps
1)
Install Windows server 2008 R2
After this set password for Local Admin

Change Computer name MSAD
Once we installed AD, there is no concept of Local Users and Computers. We Can't create Local users.

control panel--> Network and Internet-->
connect to network--> open n/w and sharing center-->Local area
connection--> go to properties-->select ip v4--> properties

Assign IP Address Ex :
192.168.2.201

Sub net Mask : 255.255.255.0

Preferred DNS : 192.168.2.201

Set time zone.

Configure IE Esc
a.
In server manager IE Esc---> Off --> Off --->
Ok

Turn firewall.....Server Manager--->
Configure IE--> Turn off All---> OK
8)
Install Active Directory
a.
Server Manager---> Role--->Select Active Directory Domains & Users--->
Next---> Install
9)
After doing this DCPROMO.exe
a.
Start-->Run--> Type
DCPROMO.exe--->Enter---Next-->next--->Yes-->Next-->
Restart System.

Here need to give domain name...eg kktech.com

Turn off Domain firewall

My Network Places-->Windows
Firewall-->Domain Firewall-->Turnoff

Then create service accounts

Ex: SPInstall SPFarm SPADAdmin

SPInstall account should be added to Domain Admins
and Enterprise Admins group in AD

If it is not pinging check firewalls and IP
Now Add to domain-

Computer -> Properties -> Change Settings
Change
-> More -> Primary DNS Suffix of Computer -> kktech.com -> OK ->
Restart Computer
Add to domain

Computer -> Properties -> Change Settings -> Change ->Member of
Domain -> Enter Domain Name -> kktech.com
If ask the credentials of Active Directory
EX:
AD Login with service account Ex:
SPAdmin and password
Then restart computer
check whether host record is created or not

Go to AD Server ->All Programs ->
Admnistrative Tools -> DNS -> Forward
Look up Zones -> It will create host record

Login with SPInstall account

Install SQL Server 2008 R2

Go to -> Start -> All Programs ->
Microsoft Server 2008 R2 -> Sql Server Management Studio -> Start SQL
Server Management Studio and start Server Agent.

Go to -> Start -> All Programs ->
Microsoft Server 2008 R2 -> Configuration Tools -> SQL Server
Configuration Manager -> SQL Server Network Configuration (Not SQL Server Network Configuration (32 Bit ) )
-> Protocols for MSSQLSERVER ->
Enable Named Pipes and TCP
